Green Button

» The Green Button sets mandatory requirements for decent work, from guaranteed minimum wages and compliance with working hours to a ban on child labour and forced labour
» The Green Button bans the use of hazardous chemicals and softeners and lays down mandatory limits on effluent discharge
» The government lays down the criteria and conditions for the Green Button – guaranteeing clarity you can trust

Oeko-Tex® Made in Green

When you buy Beirholm product labelled with Made in Green by Oeko-Tex®, you are helping to assure:

When you buy Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 “Confidence in Textiles” products Class I, you are effectively helping globally to ensure:
» That the users - including babies and children up to age 3 - are not exposed to effects from textiles that can be harmful to health
» Support for the world’s leading health labelling for textiles with uniform requirements all over the world
» every component of this article, i.e. every thread, button, label and other accessories, has been tested for harmful substances and that the article therefore is harmless in human ecological terms

FairTrade Organic Cotton

When you buy products labelled with Fairtrade Organic Cotton, you are helping to ensure:
» The farmer a guaranteed minimum price
» That a bonus is paid to the farmer's co-operative
» The health of soils, ecosystems and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs
» That toxic chemicals or GMOs are not used
» Strict environmental requirements concerning waste management, conservation of protected areas, and climate change mitigation

Recycled Polyester

When you buy Beirholm products labelled with recycled polyester, you are assured:
» That 40% of the polyester content is recycled
» That the recycled polyester is made from wasted PET bottles collected from the local area of the polyester fibre producer
» Of compliance with the most widely, recognised definitions of recycled content allowing full traceability
