In November, a delegation from the Swedish CWS & Rikstvätt laundries joined Beirholm on a visit to Pakistan to meet 4 of our long-term textile manufacturing partners and see how we develop performance textiles for the laundry industry.

And what a fantastic trip it was! From Karachi to Lahore, CWS & Rikstvätt was invited for a look “behind the scenes” to see how our textile manufacturing set-up works – from fiber to finished product.

Together, we went through all the general manufacturing processes (raw materials, spinning, weaving, processing, stitching etc.), the quality control checks, and the specific processes that make our performance textiles so laundry-fit.

CWS & Rikstvätt also saw – firsthand - how sustainability was implemented in every-day business operations. From health and safety at work to waste water treatment plants, solar panel installation, process automation and much more.
