At Beirholm, we only work with few, carefully selected manufacturing partners. The majority are vertically integrated - from spinning and all the way to the finished product.

This means, that we can audit the entire value chain frequently. We do not have to deal with intransparency from a big portfolio of manufacturing partners and their complex network of several tiers of suppliers and sub suppliers.

We made the decision to work closely with vertically integrated manufacturing partners long time ago. They all live up to strict social- and environmental criteria set by management, certification, and partnerships - amongst others with Beirholm.

We realized, however, that we need to also go beyond auditing. That's why we chose to partner up with WE. WE uses a pragmatic approach. They are on the ground, they build trust with workers, and they connect workers' voices with management to affect real social progress.
